Delaware County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, verify a release, post a bond, release a person, or obtain official booking records. Direct those questions to the responsible government office or use its official online resource below.
Official Delaware County Record Paths
Sheriff and jail contacts
For an emergency, call 911. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and its official contact page list the main or non-emergency line as (918) 253-2700, option 1, the jail at (918) 253-4530, and 327 S. 5th Street, Jay, OK 74346.
The official county sheriff directory separately identifies Sheriff Ray Thomas and lists the main number as (918) 253-2700, fax (918) 253-4524, email bynumj@delcosheriff.org, 322 S 5th St, PO Box 476, and office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. These sources publish different street numbers, 327 and 322. They have not been combined here. Verify the current street address, entrance, and counter with the sheriff before traveling in person.
Records Division and local request limits
The sheriff’s Records Division handles public-record questions in person Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A crime victim may receive one incident-report copy in person with acceptable identification at no charge; additional copies are subject to established fees. Some reports can be emailed, while others are available only by subpoena. The page does not publish a booking-photo fee, request form, or response deadline, so ask Records for the current requirements before assuming one.
Choose the office that holds the record
- For a person who may be in current county custody, use the official Delaware County inmate search. The sheriff’s Oklahoma VINE link and its published number, (877) 654-8463, are the custody-notification path for a release or transfer, not a photo source.
- For a recent booking window, check the sheriff’s daily booking report and its separate 72-hour booking report. Neither replaces a live custody confirmation.
- For an incident report, retained booking record, or a request about whether a responsive photo exists, use the Records Division. Booking charges are accusations, and every person is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
- For court status or a certified court record, start with OSCN. The official Delaware County Court Clerk is Karma Sapp, (918) 253-4420, delawareclerk@oscn.net, 327 S 5th St, Jay, OK 74346, with 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. hours. The clerk maintains court records, not jail booking photos.
- For a sentenced Oklahoma prisoner or state-supervision record, use the Oklahoma Department of Corrections Offender Info page and its Offender Lookup. This is a separate state-corrections system, not a fresh county-booking search.
- For federal custody, use the official Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. For immigration custody, use the official ICE Online Detainee Locator. These systems cover different custodial populations and may not answer a Delaware County jail question.
